The book picked up with the fall of Rome and we have read about Britain, the Byzantine Empire, India, the Franks, Islam, China, Japan, Aborigines and the boys favorite, Vikings.
I LOVE having all three boys at the table as we read and color and do projects. For the most part, Spencer chooses to sit and participate with us even when much of the reading and discussion is a bit over his head.
