T is for Tree

Peter dot painted things that start with T.  Meanwhile, I put one t-t-truck on Elliot's tray for him to play with, but he kept signing more and more and more.  Pretty soon his tray runneth over with trucks.

We played with our spinning tops just like in Peter's dot painting and then we all headed outside to gather leaves to make a tree.  We tried to do a crayon rubbing on some tree bark, but it was kind of a flop.  Note to self - the tree in our front yard does not have the type of bark conducive to rubbings.  I cut our "bark" into a trunk shape and Peter glued layer upon layer of leaves onto the tree.

Doug has been serving on a federal jury for the last week, and it is scheduled to continue for most of this week as well.  Tomorrow the boys and I are going downtown to meet him for lunch and see the inside of a court house.
