Over the River and Through the Woods...
...to Grandmother's House We Go!!
Yes, the photo is blurry. That is because we were actually blurry in real life. It was 3 in the morning and we were facing a 12 hour drive.

September Outings
Going to the nature center with friends:
Going "camping". We were planning a camping trip to Boyne City, but between Spencer breaking his arm and Audrey going through a rough sleeping patch and all of us still re-combobulating ourselves after a busy August, we decided to faux camp and take a stay-cation this year.
We watched movies on the airbed:
Went to the beach:
And visited the Detroit Zoo with my parents:

Joint Birthday Party in South Carolina
The birthday was good and the fishing, as always, took a turn for the worse as soon as we arrived. Oh, bother!
We also took an amazing trip to the Georgia Aquarium. Thank you G-Mom and G-Pop.

South Carolina Trip and Homeschool Convention
I am SO excited. I had the opportunity to go to a homeschool convention in Greenville, SC while Doug and the boys hung out with Doug's parents at their South Carolina lake house. The boys all had a good time in unseasonably warm weather and I got a few days and nights all to myself hearing some wonderful, inspirational speakers.
The dinosaur is from the exhibit hall at the homeschool convention.
